š¤ Withdrawing funds
When an app uses Unifold Payout, you can send a balance out to a wallet you control, or the app can disburse programmatically. This page is for the in-app withdraw experience.
Starting a withdrawal
- Open the withdraw or cash-out control in the app.
- Choose the destination token and network.
- Paste the recipient address and double-check it. On-chain sends cannot be reversed.
- Review the quote if one is shown (conversion plus network costs).
- Confirm. Status updates as the outbound transfer is submitted and confirmed.
You do not need the destination gas token. Routing and gas sponsorship, when the app enables them, are handled in the payout path.
What you receive
Unifold can convert the appās internal asset into the token you asked for. The amount that lands is the quoted receive size minus any network costs called out before you confirm.
If you withdraw the same asset on the same chain the app already holds, conversion is skipped and arrival is usually faster.
Timing
Most payouts confirm in under a minute on L2s and Solana. Ethereum and Bitcoin take longer when the network is busy. The widget or email/push notification from the app is the signal that the destination transaction exists. Follow that hash on a block explorer.
If a withdrawal fails
Failed payouts are retried automatically in many integrations. If the status stays failed:
- Confirm the address format matches the network (no EVM address on Solana, and vice versa).
- Confirm the app still has sufficient balance.
- Contact Unifold with the payout ID or hash if the app shows one.
Do not open a second withdrawal for the same amount until you know the first one will not settle.
