🌐 Availability and restrictions

UWritten by Unifold SupportĀ·

Unifold’s goal is to let people fund apps with the assets they already hold. Access is still bounded by law, sanctions, and the rules of the product and partners in the path.

Unifold is a noncustodial software provider. We do not take possession of user funds. Even so, the interface, routing partners, and the destination app may refuse a method or a jurisdiction.

Why a method might be missing

Restrictions usually come from one or more of these:

  • Sanctions and export rules. We cannot serve people or wallets that applicable sanctions programs prohibit. Eligibility in our Terms of Use requires that you are not subject to those restrictions.
  • Local law and licensing. Some rails (especially fiat on-ramps) are only offered where a partner is permitted to operate.
  • The destination app. Prediction markets, exchanges, and fintech products can impose their own geography or user checks. Unifold has to honor those.
  • Routing partners. Bridges, market makers, and on-ramp providers maintain their own deny lists and product limits.
  • Product fit. A given token, network, or payment method may simply not be enabled for that app.

If a country or payment method does not appear in the widget, treat that as intentional for this session.

What we will not publish as a static list

Country coverage changes when partners and regulations change. A copied, stale table would be misleading. The widget and the destination product are the live source of truth.

We also do not bypass another platform’s eligibility rules. If you can deposit via Unifold but the app still blocks an account, that decision sits with the app.

Fiat rails versus on-chain sends

On-chain deposits (wallet or deposit address) are available wherever the destination app enables them and sanctions screening allows the flow.

Card, bank, or other fiat methods (when an app shows them) are provided by regulated partners, not by a single exclusive processor. Partner availability is regional. Those partners run their own identity checks.

Still unsure?

If the widget hides a method you expected, or you were declined for a reason that is unclear, contact us with the app name, your region, and the method you tried.

Still need a person?

If this guide did not clear it up, send the team a request with your transaction details.
