šŸ”Ž Finding your deposit

UWritten by Unifold SupportĀ·

Moving crypto can feel uncertain until the destination balance updates. This page explains how to read status in a Unifold-powered app and what to check if something looks late.

Behind each deposit, Unifold coordinates on-chain detection, conversion or bridging when needed, and delivery into the connected product. Extra hops can add time, especially on congested networks or larger sizes.

How to read status

Once a transfer starts, use the same surface you deposited from.

Connected wallet, exchange, or card

The widget shows an in-progress state, often with a timer. When settlement finishes, it flips to success. Open more details to jump to the relevant block explorer and confirm the destination transaction.

Deposit-address (send crypto) flow

After you submit, a notification lists the inbound transaction and explorer links. A second update appears when the destination balance is credited.

If you closed the tab, reopen the same app and the same account. Status is tied to that session and destination, not to a global Unifold login.

Typical timing

Settlement depends on how you paid, how busy the source network is, and how much conversion is required.

Once Unifold has registered the inbound funds, these are the usual targets:

MethodTypical credit time
Wallet / on-chain sendUnder 2 minutes
Card or bank on-ramp (when offered)Under 3 minutes
Exchange-connected withdrawalUnder 4 minutes

Bitcoin on the base layer is slower than the table above.

When a transfer is delayed or expires

The goal is to finish at the quality shown in the widget. If that cannot happen quickly, status changes with time:

  • Still processing (about the first 35 minutes): inbound funds are visible, but the completed state has not appeared yet. Wait unless the source transaction itself failed.
  • Past ~35 minutes: some in-flight orders expire so they are not left in a half-routed state. Open a ticket with the hash and the destination app so the team can inspect the route.

A delay is not the same as a loss. Do not send a second transfer to ā€œunstickā€ the first unless support asks you to.

Things to verify first

Did the funds actually leave?

Confirm the send on your exchange or wallet. You should have a transaction hash to the address shown in the widget. Some exchanges hold withdrawals in an internal queue before they broadcast. The hash appears only after that broadcast.

Are you looking at the right destination?

Balances show up on the account or wallet the app credited, which may not be the wallet you sent from. If you switched accounts, reconnect the one you used when you started the deposit.

Was the asset and amount valid?

For deposit-address sends, the widget enforces a minimum. Transfers below that floor remain at the address until they are topped up. Funds are not spent in that state.

Also confirm you sent a supported token on the supported network. The current list lives in Networks and assets we accept. Unsupported assets need a support request; recovery is not promised.

Still need a person?

If this guide did not clear it up, send the team a request with your transaction details.
